The Michel Redde et Fils winery is located in the commune of Saint-Andelain in the Nièvre department in the French wine-growing region Loire, François Redde was mentioned here as a winemaker as early as the mid-17th century. The foundation stone for today's business was laid by Michel Redde in the early 1950s and then by his son Thierry. Since 2003, the third generation has been run by the two brothers Sébastien and Romain Redde. The vineyards cover 42 hectares of vines with the white varieties Sauvignon Blanc and Chasselas are planted. The white wines are stored for 3 to 18 months, depending on the type in steel tanks or wooden barrels. The product range includes AOC Blanc Fumé de Pouilly wines ( Pouilly-Fumé ) with seven wines (Sauvignon Blanc), Pouilly-sur-Loire (Chasselas) and Sancerre (Sauvignon Blanc).
