2014 Blanc Fumé de Pouilly AOC Les Cornets, Loire, France

Clear vegetable vegetal nose with elderberry notes, light earthy notes, some smoke, hint of fresh butter, light nutty and yeasty notes. Fairly firm, juicy, polished and cool fruit with fresh vegetal, red and floral aromas, lively, elegant acidity, still a lot of yeast, some rhubarb in the background, has grip, elegant acidity, persistent on the palate, rather undeveloped, grapefruit in the background, very good, quite firm finish.
