2013 Landwein trocken Weisser Schiefer "m", Weinland Austria, Austria

Orange to amber. Firm, nutty, yellow-spicy and dried floral fragrance with light tobacco, peppery and distinct mineral aromas, a little bit of medicinal herbs and aromatic, light tobacco. Very firm, light yellow fruit with lively acidity, a lot of grip of ripe tannin and clearly yeasty notes, tobacco notes, dense and persistent on the palate, good depth, clear, chalky-salty minerality, also white-peppery spice and olive oil, still youthful, very good, firm, tart and slightly spicy finish

Editor note: Ochre yellow to orange colour. Firm nose, yellow spice, nutty notes, hint of tobacco, dried floral notes, partly preserved and dried apricots, hint of pomaceous fruit. Very firm, tranquil yellow fruit on the palate, prominent yellow spice, smoky, yeasty and nutty aromas, very elegant acid bite, fairly firm tannins, persistent, noticeable salty notes in the background, vegetal and earthy notes, peppery notes, persistent, full-bodied and gripping, light floral notes, notes of olive oil and iodine develop with aeration, still young, becomes deeper and more elegant with aeration, very good, firm, juicy, spicy, gripping finish.
