Tight, tangy dark fruit with smoky and distinctly peppery aromas, also some allspice, dry herbs in the background, present, fine, almost silky tannins, a little smoky to slightly sooty wood, persistent on the palate, lots of salt and chalky tones, juniper and bay leaf again, still young, liquorice and dark chocolate in the background, very good, firm, tangy and again quite salty finish with coffee notes.
