Editor note: Intense nose with roasted and spicy oak, very ripe, partly preserved mixed berries and cherries, becomes much more complex with long aeration, also adds some mineral notes. Lots of oak on the palate, fine, still strongly astringent tannins, juicy, ripe fruit initially slightly inhibited by the oak, but develops with aeration, full-bodied, has some acidity, mienral notes, quite good persistence, overall a fairly cool style, initially has rough, astringent tannins on the finish, but more cool, dark fruit develops with aeration. At this stage needs two days to open up and show it quality.
