2005 Neusiedlersee Chardonnay trocken Jungenberg, Burgenland, Austria

Appealing yellow fruit on the nose, dominated by spicy oak and vanilla, coconut and light roasted notes. Oak also still quite noticeable on the palate, but starting to blend into the wine, yellow apples, some partly preserved medlar and a little vanilla, hint of citrus in the background, integrated acidity, has some substance, still needs time to develop, slightly creamy on a good finish.
