2008 Brut Nature Cuvée MO, Nahe, Germany

Clear, fairly cool yeasty nosew, hint of mushrooms, light nutty notes, restrained yellow fruit, hint of dark berries, floral traces, mineral notes. Ripe, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, nutty aromas, hint of tobacco, prominent yeasty notes, very fine mousse, good grip, substance and persistence, hint of cassis in the background, prominent walnuts, good depth, hint of tobaco and some ashes in the background, traces of cinnamon, very good tart, juicy, gripping finish.

Editor note: Firm nose, yeasty and nutty aromas, light dried vegetal and herbaceous notes, pomaceous fruit, still has light cheesy aromas. Bone dry fruit on the palate, yeasty, nutty and vegetal aromas, fine mousse, persistent, light tannic grip, some depth, still fairly young, hint of tobacco in the background, dried floral traces, very good tart finish.
