2015 Dorsheim Goldloch Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Nahe, Germany

Firm yeasty nose, light vegetal notes, hint of tobacco and petrol, partly preserved and candied stone and pomaceous fruit, citrus fruit, still slightly yeasty, green bacon, peppery aromas, earthy and mineral notes. Fairly firm, juicy, partly candied fruit on the palate, elegant, lively acidity, noticeable tannic grip, salty and herbaceous aromas, persistent, has substance, fairly creamy, orange zest and some raisins in the background, hint of sugar candy, good depth, still young, quite tranquil, tremendous minerality, tannins still slightly astringent, spicy vegetal notes, very good long, juicy finish.

Editor note: Cool, very firm nose, elegant vegetal and delicate herbaceous notes, polished, partly preserved stone and citrus fruit, hint of pineapple and sugar candy, floral traces, cool mineral notes. Clear, polished, elegant, juicy, bone dry fruit on the palate, yeasty and elegant vegetal aromas, very elegant acidity, restrained, integrated tannins, persistent, good depth, straightforward style, quite fresh, tart mineral notes in the background, sea salt, prominent tobacco, touch of blueberries, very well balanced, fresh, cool and bone dry on a very good long finish.
