Deep nose, still restless and slightly reductive, prominent soup greens, yeast extract, citrus and some stone fruit, bergamotte, fairly prominent mineral notes, hint of petrol, floral traces, still has noticeable sulphur notes. Firm and juicy fruit on the palate, initially appears off-dry, but becomes more tart with aeration, prominent yeasty notes, sugar candy, herbs and some tobacco, slightly sandy tannins provide firm grip, very good persistence and depth, hint of yellow spice and some peppery notes, intense mineral notes, mushrooms, hint of olive oil, ripe fruit on a grippy, very good juicy finish with some sugar candy. Opens up tremendously with aeration.
