The estate is located in the municipality of Eringen (Markgräflerland area) in the German wine-growing region to bathe, The manager and cellar master is Andreas Engelmann. The vineyards cover six hectares of vineyards in the individual location of Sommerberg (Eringen). They are planted with the varieties Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chasselas and Sauvignon Blanc. It is consistently practiced natural, environmentally friendly viticulture with permanent greenery, organic fertilization and gentle soil care. The grapes obtained by hand picking are strictly selected, the average yield is 55 hl / ha. The white wines ferment in stainless steel and are then fermented in large wooden barrels or in stainless steel on the expanded until spring. After about three weeks of maceration, the red wines mature in barriques for at least one year. The flagship of the house is the "Pinot Noir S" from the best plots of the summer mountain. Around 37,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. A bottle-fermented sparkling wine is also produced.
