2003 Neusiedlersee trocken Fürstliches Prädium, Burgenland, Austria

Fairly mature nose, black berries and preserved cherries, light earthy notes and some bread, cedary notes and spicy oak. Quite full-bodied and creamy on the palate, spicy oak, hint of bread, dried berries, some herbaceous and earthy traces, medium fine, predominantly mature tannins, persistent, good finish.

Editor note: Prominent spicy oak on the nose, smoky, black berries, licorice and coffee notes. Full-bodied with dark roasted notes, almost sooty oak on the palate, fruit pushed into the background, astringent tannins, oak dominates, has some substance, good persistence, spicy notes, oak-dominated on a good finish.
