2015 Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC Rosso Scuro, Friuli/Venezia-Giulia, Italy

Hint of tobacco and some smoky notes on the nose, predominantly black berries, light earthy and mineral notes. Clear, polished, tart, juicy, dark fruit on the palate, smoky and nutty notes, hint of tobacco, earthy notes, touch of cocoa and coffee, fine, youthful tannins, good substance and persistence, hint of bacon in the background, light salty notes, very good tart, juicy, spicy finish.
