2003 Alghero DOC Tanca Farra', Sardinia, Italy

Fairly mature nose, red berries and some black berries, prominent spicy provencale herbs, roasted notes. Clear and elegantly juicy on the palate, fairly soft fruit with mature, only slightly astringent tannins, some more bell peppers and provencale herbs, quite persistent, not particularly deep, some more spicy oak on an attractive to good finish.
