2006 Alghero DOC Thilion, Sardinia, Italy

Yellow apples and a hint of Mediterranean fruit on the nose, light vegetal notes, delicate spicy oak. Complex but fairly moderate fruit on the palate, apples, bananas, some pineapple and pears, also has elegant herbaceous notes, not particularly deep, but persistent and quite complex, appealing and refreshing, even interesting, moderate integrated acidity, a hint of vanilla and cardamom in the background, light tannic touch, good finish.
