2006 Vermentino di Sardegna DOC La Cala, Sardinia, Italy

Muted nose with dried apples and delicate nutty notes, light phenolic touch. Straightforward style, dried, yellow apples and a hint of pomegranate on the palate, delicate nutty and vegetal notes, integrated acidity provides backbone, noticeable tannins, but not obtrusive, typical varietal character and shows some backbone, attractive finish.
