2013 Barolo DOCG La Tartufaia "Giulia Negri", Piedmont, Italy

Slightly fleshy, earthy and dried vegetal nose, red and a little black berries, undergrowth and mushroomy notes. Fairly tart and fairly cool, elegantly juicy, partly preserved fruit, polished, fairly prominent tannins, floral and herbaceous notes, slightly nutty notes, slightly salty and hint of floral notes, prominent mushroomy notes, some peppery spice, fairly deep, harmonious, fairly full complex, very good, polished, elegantly juicy and spicy finish with mineral notes.
