2006 Gavi DOCG "Beneficio", Piedmont, Italy

Prominent herbs and spices on the nose, delicately mature, partly candied citrus fruit and pomaceous fruit, yeasty traces. Clear, elegant, juicy fruit on the palate, prominent herbaceous notes, very elegant acidity, creamy with good persistence, yeasty traces again, earthy mineral notes, very light tannic touch, good finish.
