Slightly sharp, unclean, rustic nose, partly dried dark berries and plums, earthy and some blunt oaky notes. Mature fruit on the palate, full-bodied and creamy, some more oak and earthy notes, fairly mature tannins, very slightly sharp notes reminiscent of mixed pickles, some chestnut, slightly astringent on an attractive to good finish.
