2013 Barbaresco DOCG, Piedmont, Italy

Slightly dried floral scent of predominantly red berries with dried vegetal, earthy and slightly nutty aromas. Clear, tart, juicy, ripe fruit, fine, youthful tannins, somewhat dried floral and nutty aromas, persistent, certain power and warmth, vegetal traces, a hint of tobacco, spicy tones, hint of cocoa, salty in the background, a little clove, gains depth with air, still rather undeveloped, very good finish. Considerably consider the first sample.
