Editor note: Slightly tobacco and moderately woody, rather deep scent of predominantly black berries with a hint of cherries, meaty notes, iodine, Brazil nut, liquorice and a hint of herbs in the background. Ripe, juicy, yet tart, partly preserved fruit, very fine, ripe tannins, fairly creamy on the palate, some cocoa and spicy nuances, good substance and persistence, fairly deep, very good, slightly warm finish with ripe juice and chocolate.
