Spadaio e Piecorto
Winery Wines

2016 Chianti Classico DOCG "Spadaio e Piecorto", Tuscany, Italy

Somewhat dried-vegetable and a hint of cedary-woody aroma of predominantly black berries with tobacco, earthy, peppery and floral nuances and a hint of wasabi. Firmly woven, juicy, ripe fruit with slightly nutty wood notes and a hint of chocolate, youthful, ripe tannin, good substance and persistence, has power but also polish, a hint of tobacco in the background, salty minerality and spicy traces, very good, firm finish with ripe, yet rather tart juice and paprika. In a completely different condition than the sample from the other filling last year.
