2016 Blankenhornsberg Doktorgarten Chardonnay Grosses Gewächs, Baden, Germany

Tart nose, light dried vegetal, earthy and mineral notes, restrained yellow fruit, nutty traces, hint of tobacco. Ripe, creamy, warm, partly dried and partly candied fruit on the palate, nutty aromas, floral traces, integrated acidity, light tannic grip, noticeable high alcohol, fairly good substance and persistence, salty mineral notes, hint of lychee, spicy traces in the background, quite powerful, but also has some backbone, very good finish.
