Smoky-woody, slightly greasy nose, also slightly vegetal, sour cherries and black berries, dried vegetal notes, earthy and mineral notes. Fairly tart, polished, ripe fruit on the palate, smoky, roasted and bitter chocolate, dried vegetal notes, earthy and mineral notes, fine sandy tannins, good persistence, slightly warm and quite creamy, compact structure, very good finish.

Editor note: Translate to English Rauchig-röstiger und ein wenig selchiger Duft nach schwarzen und etwas roten Beeren mit Trockenkräuternoten. Saftige Frucht und deutliches Holz im Mund, rauchig-rußige Noten, feiner Säurebiss und recht feines, wenn auch ein wenig trocknendes Tannin, eher kühler Stil, rauchige und kräuterige Noten, gute Nachhaltigkeit und etwas Tiefe, guter bis sehr guter Abgang.
