2016 Weinsberg Schemelsberg Lemberger Grosses Gewächs, Württemberg, Germany

Some peppery-spicy and herbaceous nose, black berries and cherries, tart woody and earthy notes. Tart and juicy on the palate, fairly cool, dark fruit, smoky, dried vegetal notes, tobacco and peppery notes, fine sandy tannins, persistent, hint of bacon and dark chocolate in the background, spicy notes, very good, quite firm finish.
