2015 Süd-Steiermark Grauburgunder trocken Calcaire, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Fairm, fairly deep sweetish nose, floral and light vegetal notes, partly candied and preserved yellow fruit, delicate yeasty and light nutty traces. Ripe, concentrated, preserved, fairly sweet fruit on the palate, some caramel and butter, nutty aromas, ripe acidity, light tannic touch, very good persistence, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, mineral notes in the background, delicate hint of tobacco, touch of carbon dioxide, becomes more harmonious with aeration, showing more depth and complexity, rewsidual sugar well integrated, sugar candy, nuts and some fresh butter on a very good long finish. Needs some time to mature.
