2016 Süd-Steiermark Ried Kittenberg Weißburgunder trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Fairly cool nose, yeasty and nutty notes, herbaceous and delicate floral notes, light yellow fruit, particularly quinces, prominent mineral notes. Firm and cool again on the palate, very elegant, juicy fruit, yeasty, nutty and smoky notes, very elegant, lively acidity, very fine tannins, persistent, deep and gripping, still undeveloped, very elegant style, medium body, hint of green bacon and pulses in the background, compelling mineral structure, very good firm finish, tart and juicy, elegant spice. Excellent wine.
