The winery with full name "Szent Tamás Szőlőbirtok és Pincészet" is located in the municipality Mád in the region Tokaj-Hegyalja ( Hungary ). It was founded in 2009 by a group of owners. Responsible for the operation are István Szepsy jr. and István Balassa. The vineyards cover 25 hectares of vineyards owned by Betsek, Birsalmás, Király, Nyulásszó, Percze and the eponymous Szent Tamás on volcanic soil with yellow and red clay. In addition, grapes are purchased in large quantities, which serve for the quality class "Ortsweine". In this regard, an expansion to 300 hectares of vineyards is planned by contract growers. The varieties Furmint, Hárslevelű and Muskotály (Muscat Blanc) are cultivated and processed.
