2006 Szekszárd trocken Trió®, Südliches Transdanubien, Hungary

Translate to English Etwas gereifte, erdige und holzige Nase nach schwarzen Beeren und etwas Zwetschgen mit Noten von geschmorten Paprikaschoten, etwas Haselnuss und Tabak. Reife, entwickelte Frucht im Mund, ganz leicht kompottig, rauchig-röstige und nussige Holzaromen, feines, aber leicht trocknendes Tannin, gewisser Schmelz und mittlere Kraft, relativ weicher, mürber Stil, schokoladige Anklänge, etwas Nachhaltigkeit, auch im guten Abgang etwas trocknend holzig.

Editor note: Tart nose, spicy oak, bell peppers and some pulses, black and a few red berries. Mature fruit on the palate, more prominent vegetal notes, pulses and bell peppers, nutty, toasted oak, earthy notes in the background, fairly fine, slightly astringent tannins, noticeable alcohol, touch of chocolate, fairly persistent, slightly jammy, more nutty oak and prominent alcohol on the finish. Contours are now somewhat less polished.

Editor note: Very slight signs of maturation on the nose, blackcurrants, some red berries, bell peppers and mint, hint of chocolate in the background, smoky and roasted notes, spicy oak. Fairly juicy fruit on the palate, more mint and some bell pepper, chocolate, smoky oak, medium-fine, slightly astringent tannins, good persistence, earthy and herbaceous notes, medium body, good finish.
