2008 Szekszárd Merlot trocken, Südliches Transdanubien, Hungary

Fairly tart nose, partly preserved red and black berries, delicate roasted notes, dried herbs. Full-bodied, ripe, predominantly dark fruit on the palate, nutty oak, touch of gravy stock in the background, good persistence, mature tannins, good to very good finish.
