2006 Saperavi trocken, Kachetien, Georgia

Red currants and cassis on the nose, medicinal and mineral notes. Straightforward red currant fruit on the palate, again with very light medicinal notes, slightly bitter notes and some cassis, moderate, very slightly dusty tannins, not heavy, but fairly persistent, touch of overripe grapes on a good finish.
