2014 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG "Oliveto p.56", Tuscany, Italy

Slightly dried vegetal and floral scent of ripe black and red berries with floral and earthy nuances and a hint of tar. Ripe, quite juicy, somewhat creamy fruit with chocolatey wood notes, slightly spicy tones on the palate, crumbly sandy tannins, good sustainability and substance, only slightly compote notes, gains air but elegance and coolness, mineral tones in the background, a hint of tobacco and bacon, very good, firm, juicy finish with a handle and spice.
