2012 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Tuscany, Italy

Translate to English Etwas getrocknet-pflanzlicher bis tabakiger, nussiger und unterholziger Duft nach reifen, teils angetrockneten schwarzen und roten Beeren mit ledrigen Nuancen, angedeutet Kokos und ein wenig Kardamomwürze. Klare, reife, saftige Frucht mit nussigen und etwas kakaowürzigen Holznoten, jugendliches, aber mürbes Tannin am Gaumen, nachhaltig und griffig, viel Schmelz, aber auch etwas Biss, mineralische Spuren im Hintergrund, fester Bau, gute Tiefe und ausgezeichnete Substanz, leicht röstige Noten, vielschichtig, sehr guter, saftiger, gewürziger und ein wenig rauchiger Abgang.
