The estate is located in the municipality of Pozzolengo (province of Brescia) in the Italian region Lombardy, It was founded in 1930 by the Swiss industrialist Frederico Doubt and further expanded by his son Giusto. This was followed in the 1980s by son-in-law Giovanni Felice Azzone, who introduced new wine-making methods and began bottling from the 1988 vintage. His wife Annarosa doubt devoted himself to the restoration of the old farmstead in the style of the 14th century. The family tradition is continued by the three daughters Sara, Vanessa and Babettli Azzone. Paolo Fabiani is responsible for the operation.

The vineyards cover around 100 hectares of vineyards on the southern shore of Lake Garda on soils rich in clay and lime, which are among the oldest in the area. Grapes are also purchased in very small quantities of only 1%. It will be the red wine varieties Barbera. Sangiovese. Groppello Gentile. Marzemino.
