2006 Grignolino del Monferrato Casalese DOC, Piedmont, Italy

Ripe red berries as well as a hint of candied orange on the nose, delicate floral and herbaceous notes. Clear, firm and elegantly juicy on the palate, very elegant, fairly prominent acidity, integrated tannins, mineral notes, floral touch and some more candied orang in the background, good persistence, harmonious, not heavy in spite of the high alcohol, good finish.
