2011 Bramaterra DOC, Piedmont, Italy

Slightly developed, nutty, earthy and tobacco aroma with red and black berry hints, a little chestnut, coffee, tar and spicy notes. Tart, ripe fruit with tobacco and coffee spicy notes, fine dusty tannin and some bite, good persistence, again tobacco and in addition slightly sooty in the background, some undergrowth, some warmth, friable tannin, good to very good, quite juicy, but also very slightly drying finish
