Nutty, dried herbal and somewhat chocolaty scent of ripe, partly preserved mixed berries and some plums with nutty and spicy tones, some candy and sweet tobacco. Ripe, juicy, again partly canned fruit, delicate acid bite and quite present, yet crumbly tannin, spicy aromas and again also candy tones on the palate, has power and substance, lasting, good depth, herbal, nutty and salty aromas, some chocolate, quite complex, some warmth, again sweet-tobacco aromas, a little liquorice, very good, juicy and spicy finish. In great shape, no comparison to our sample at that time.

Editor note: Ripe cherries and plums on the nose, roasted aromas and some vanilla. Straightforward, quite sweet fruit on the palate, reasonably well integrated oak, quite prominent tannins, rough and chunky, warm alcoholic burn, not particularly deep, some chocolate, fairly good finish.
