2017 Bonarda dell’Oltrepò Pavese DOC Dolium, Lombardy, Italy

A somewhat woody scent of black berries and a little cherry with earthy and slightly animal nuances. Straight, dark, sweetish, juicy fruit with quite fine perlage and crumbly-sandy tannin, certain persistence, earthy and dried plant notes, very lightly muted, good, sweetish-fruity and slightly dried plant as well as a hint of mushroom finish.
