2013 Freisa di Chieri DOC La Torrigiana, Piedmont, Italy

Slightly spicy aroma with red and black berry aromas, some nutty-woody notes, dried vegetal and earthy notes. Tart dark fruit on the palate, fairly prominent acidity and sandy, astringent tannins, nutty oak, earthy and dried vegetal notes, quite full-bodied, slightly rough and rustic, quite astringent on the finish.
