2013 Barolo DOCG Vinum Vita Est, Piedmont, Italy

Dried, vegetal to tobacco and earthy nose, red and a little black berries, touched with coffee and dried mushrooms. Ripe, quite juicy fruit on the palate, nutty, tobacco and undergrowth notes, some dried mushrooms and a hint of cocoa, mature tannins, good persistence, fairly creamy and slightly warm, hint of pepper, round, approachable style, very good, juicy and fine spicy notes on the finish.
