2015 Barolo DOCG "Vinum Vita Est", Piedmont, Italy

Slightly undergrowth and reminiscent of withered foliage, also a little nutty fragrance with warm red-berry aromas and a hint of malt and tar. Ripe, again a bit warm, juicy fruit, candied nutty and delicately malty tones, ripe, quite present tannin, has power, good persistence, some bite, a hint of cocoa on the palate, herbal nuances, some power, very good finish.

Editor note: Somewhat dried floral and tobacco scent of red and hinted black berries with slightly earthy, iodine and undergrowth nuances. Clear, ripe, juicy, rather tart fruit, quite firm structure, fine sandy, rather crumbly tannin, tobacco, nutty and slightly woody tones, good persistence, straightforward style, certain strength, floral nuances, raspberry tones in the very good finish.
