2007 Chianti DOCG Barlettaia, Tuscany, Italy

Slightly rustic style, mixed berries on the nose, prominent alcohol, earthy notes, dried herbs and old oak. Ripe, soft fruit on the palate, light vegetal notes and some chocolate, creamy, mature and slightly dusty tannins, oak and earthy traces, quite creamy with noticeable alcohol, but lacks depth, slightly muted, attractive finish.
