2003 Beaujolais-Villages AOC, Beaujolais, France

Light sulphide smell, disappears with aeration, the delicate notes of elegant berries, orange zest, dark caramel and some malt, as well as floral notes. Quite well developed on the palate, delicate slightly diffuse berry fruit is almost overwhelmed by light coffe and nougat notes, an unostentatious style that has quite a bit of substance, integrated tannins, attractive to good finish.
