2018 St. Magdalener / Santa Maddalena DOC, Alto Adige, Italy

Tart, dried-vegetable, slightly earthy and undergrowthy aroma of predominantly red berries with a hint of plums. Quite juicy fruit with nutty and very slightly woody notes, a touch of cocoa on the palate, some bite, fine tannin, good persistence, floral and mineral hints, delicately creamy, mineral tones in the background, good to very good finish.
