2016 Toscana IGT "Picconero", Tuscany, Italy

Firm, rather deep, a bit greasy and with a little animal scent of black berries and black olives with some wood, notes of dried herbs and earthy tones. Ripe, fairly polished, juicy fruit with bitter chocolate and slightly spicy oak aromas, a little smoke and bacon as well as ethereal and herbaceous notes, dense and persistent on the palate, still completely undeveloped, a little toasted, good depth, very good, firm, juicy and spicy Finish. Needs time.
