2005 Vipavska dolina Merlot trocken, Primorska, Slovenia

Partly preserved red berries on the nose, light vegetal and herbaceous notes. Uncomplicated style, fairly light-bodied on the palate, soft and easy to drink, slightly tart and partly preserved red berries and some plums, herbaceous notes, slightly prominent but fairly well integrated tannins, attractive finish. Good though basic aprtner with food.
