The estate is located in the municipality of Páganos (Laguardia) in the Spanish Rioja sub-area Rioja Alavesa

Bought. The vineyards cover 50 hectares, surrounded by a neoclassical palacio. There are 4,000 barrique barrels available for the extension. The wine is marketed under the label Barón de Oña
. The Reserva is blended from 95% Tempranillo and 5% Mazuelo. He matures for 16 months in American, then another 8 months in French oak barrels, and then another two years in the bottle. The average age of the barrels is three years. About one third of the production goes into export.
