2005 D.O.Ca Rioja Reserva Barón de Oña, La Rioja, Spain

Firm nose, partly preserved red and some black berries, prominent mineral notes, peanuts and some tobacco, some dried herbs and light cedary notes. Clear and juicy on the palate, firm ripe fruit, cedary touch, spicy oak, very elegant acidity, fairly prominent but also very fine tannins, persistent, fairly prominent mineral notes, elegant bite, good depth, quite complex, very good finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2018+. What our ratings mean
