2005 P.D.O. Samos (O.P.E.) / Σάμος süß Vin Doux, Aegean islands / Νησιά Αιγαίου, Greece

Candied yellow fruit and raisins on a sweet, delicately herbaceous nose, caramel, honey and muscat flowers. Soft and inviting on the palate, simple raisin and orange fruit, sweet but not too full-bodied, harmonious and approachable, not particularly deep, quite charming and shows its origins, good finish. Very authentic and refreshing in its own way.
