Very ripe red berries on a slightly mature nose, with some paint and delicate mineral notes. Mature berry fruit and some plums on the palate, dominated by prominent but appropriate acitiy and slightly astringent tannins, which makes the wine appear lighter than it is, attractive to good finish.
