2004 Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC Rossa di Corte, Friuli/Venezia-Giulia, Italy

Dissolute nose, partly preserved red and black berries, some sugar candy, touch of mint, light vegetal notes, smoky and roasted notes. Sweetish fruit on the palate, again lacks contours, sugar candy and vegetal notes, some toasted oak, earthy notes, dusty, astringent tannins, not particularly deep, already slightly fragile, noticeable alcohol, lacks contours again on the finish.
